Oem single cd player

MY OEM single CD player not working on my 97C5. When I put in the CD, cd player ejects the cd out and has "error" message flashes. I know most likely my laser reader is bad.

My questions is, is 97-04 OEM signle CD player all same? I intend to buy a used unit and have send out to have AUx. option installed.

Im pretty sure they are all the same.. Not positive but call Marc at VETTENUTS and ask him. He is a C5 Salvage yard EXPERT and he WILL be able to tell you what will and will not cross over.
Nice people and they have all sorts of C5 & C6 used parts and services!!

All 1997 to 2004 Corvette radios are interchangeable. However, you must get one from a Corvette.
The units from other GM vehicles will not work in a C5.

I have a factory CD player with Bose speakers out of a 2004 that I would like to get rid of. All works fine, went aftermarket. I would be willing to sell as a package deal.

You might not be looking to upgrade your radio, but rather than spend money on the same mediocre radio you had go bad, now would be the perfect time to invest in a feature-laden double din radio, bluetooth, satellite radio, back-up camera, etc. You won't regret it and you could do it without having to change your speakers, too.
