fuel gauge

filled up yesterday and noticed the gauge didn't register full, while driving noticed gauge went to E then back to full. Thinking the fuel sending unit is starting to go out. Seems ok now. 04 vert. think I'll keep an eye on the fuel range for now

My 98 does that every now and then. Its become just normal to me. Dont sweat it. Dump in a bottle of Techron a couple times a year. Make sure that your primary tank is full when you dump in the techron so that it goes into the secondary tank., or passenger tank. Do this in the fall when you store the car for the winter and make sure that your tanks are full. This has worked well for me...

thanks my 01 GMC p/u did this and finally quit, replaced the sending unit when I replaced the fuel pump

Techron or chevron gas. Otherwise you need a new sending unit.

as others said, run 2-3 full tanks of gas (super) with techron before you go for the big expense.
