An article about a year ago in Corvette XXX mag showed a before and after 12 rwhp (most forum members don't think they really get that much, but there was a before and after dyno same car/same day.

My 01 coupe with the PRT's and Vortex cold air added picked up 15 rwhp before and after dyno runs. I do admit the dyno was different, and the car had about 1000 more miles on it, but I believe the results to be pretty accurate based on what I saw other cars dyno at on both days.

I have them with a blackwing and can't say I really notice anything. They say like 10+, but I'm not feeling it. However, I love the look and sound and that made it worth it. Hope you enjoy them

Don't do em for the HP do em for the sound and looks, do someting else for the HP to back up the sound since you will now be revving it often :yesnod:

If you want a real noticable gain in hp and sound, you need long tube headers...plenty to choose from...choose your price!!

I didn't notice much HP on either the PRTs or the RTE66's. PRT pamphlet shows the PRT has an average over various RPMs of +8.5 (and RTE 66 +7.5) but I didn't really feel it. Did feel a bit of extra power with the Vortex however. Looking forward to 4.10 and possible ATI.
