Default FAST 92 VS used LS6

My car is still stock, always wanted to get a LS6 intake.

Only used are available.

I'm thinking of possibly going with A and A supercharger one day, seems I heard FAST intakes can't handle boost?

Is this true?

If you're still stock, the intake manifold would not be a great choice for a "first mod".

Any boosted application will work very well with the OEM LS6/2001+ intake manifold.

NOTHING at all wrong with a good used manifold. As long as its not been abused. I've sold several. Everyone was very happy with the transaction and benefited from the improvement.

Fine one, get it, ENJOY!

NOTE! Don't expect MASSIVE HP/Tq increases. It will provide you a good 5-8 hp but, its an excellent foundation for future mods that continue to add power. Like headers, cam, better heads ect...

stick with the ls6 for sure if you're going with a supercharger, the ls6 is plenty capable of making good hp with boost and is much stronger than the fast... even your ls1 intake will make good power with boost, the fast is only worth it on a max effort n/a setup in my opinion

All 01+ C5s had the LS6 intake. What year is your car?

A LS6 is an easy upgrade. You do have to modify the bottom of the intake to clear the early steam ports which I am not a fan of. The other option is using the 01+ front steam port crossover and capping the rears with OEM caps or adding a rear steam port for more on the steam ports:

A FAST is a good upgrade and yes they can take boost. However it doesn't really make sense as a first mod and if you're going forced induction, IMO you would be better off saving money with LS6 and spending the money else where. You could likely sell the LS6 for what you have in it later if you go further.
