My 2000 will not connect with either key FOB. I reprogram both and it lasts less than 48 hours and then they won’t work again. I put a new battery in the vette and replaced the key FOB battery twice. Battery voltage without starting is right around 12; 13.6-14.2 while idling. No codes
If you just RE-SYNC them, do they resync and work??
Even though you replaced the cars battery, you could still be having some voltage issues. The BCM uses ignition switch voltage and battery buss voltage to power the module. If the ignition switch voltage or the battery buss voltage is not correct at the BCM, it will lose sync with the FOBs.
Early FOBs are notorious for bad solder joints on their circuit boards. Do a search on how to try and fix it. I was able to fix my 99 FOB by reflowing the solder in some key areas on the board.

100% That too can cause an issue. You will need a good light and magnifying glass to inspect the joints.
