If memory serves me correctly (which happens less often than I let on), unless you're trying to suck in a lot more air than stock (which means heads/cam and/or larger displacement), there is little to be gained with aftermarket MAF.
Did not notice much hp improvement with a SLP MAF.
My car always had kinda rough idle. To my suprise the SLP MAF smoothed out the idle to where I cant feel the motor run. I think it may run a little richer at idle but sure is smooth.
I'm not sure about any power increase with the GMS MAF but , It did get my LTFT's closer to 0 than my stock MAF with no screen.
so as far as I can tell, it just made tuning the engine a little easier. :cheers:
