Warped Rotors Again!
It was cool outside lower 60's and I did a hard break from 100. 1 hard break and the rotors warped again. Any suggestions about front rotors that dont warp would be appriecated.

The usual cause of warped rotors is improperly torqued lug nuts.
Have any of your wheel ever been off the car? If so, were they hand torqued to the spec torque setting when they were reinstalled?
Most folks with warped rotors have had wheels installed or replaced by dealers (Chevy or tire service) using air-guns. The uneven and over-torquing is causative.

Also make sure that you have bedded them in properly:

Which rotors were you using...crossdrilled...slotted..???? Mfg. by whom????

That's kind of odd. I autocrossed, roadraced (over 8 hours of HOT lapping), drag raced, street raced (braking from over 150mph) and my first set of rotors never warped in 25,000 miles. I replaced the pads and rotors then because the rotors were showing signs of spider cracking. I think you need to evaluate your driving habits to see if you're doing something out of the ordinary to cause them to warp. :cheers:

Dont feel bad, I am on my fifth set of rotors. And mine didn't warp, they cracked, usually in several spots and all the way through. They say you can take the car to the track, but abviously afternoons of road racing with PF 01 coumpound pads was too much.
