Default Brake Dust

HI, I noticed I am getting a lot of brake dust on the front rims. Is this normal and is there a solution? I just purchased a 2000 C5 a month ago.

Thanks, Rick

When I bought my 03 vert over two years ago the owner had put on slotted rotors and ceramic pads.
I have not seen any brake dust at all.
You will hear about increased stopping distance with these pads but I don't have any problems. I think it's just something you get used to. Ceramic pads are on a lot of cars now.
I just do everyday driving, no track or racing.
Good luck!
