I have a 2002 Corvette and recently I got messages saying: service active handling, service traction system and service ABS. Are these all connected? What will fix them?
Linda, they are all interconnected. One common cause of this message is a failure of your EBCM module (pulling the codes will help verify if this is the issue). The problem is a failure of a relay (or relays), so it can start out as just an intermittent message, but eventually it will most likely progress to a constant message. You can still drive your car, but you just won't have those features performing their tasks. The part is no longer available unless you find the unicorn collecting dust on a shelf somewhere. The solution will be a repair of said module. If you have some electrical chops and a steady hand with a soldering iron, you can fix it yourself. Otherwise you can send it away for repair. ABSFixer is one of the better known businesses which does this. Good luck.
ECBM repair is fairly simple, although it does require removal and replacement.
This is what mine looked like when I cracked it open. Lots of great people and excellent threads on this forum to help you out just use the search function

Reason: Misspelling
I had mine come on in my 02 about a month ago, I cleared the code and it hasn't come back on yet. Try clearing the codes in your ABS system and see if it comes back on, if it does have ABS Fixer repair it for you.

I believe since she has a "C" behind the code, it will not clear.
