My switchback led bulbs in my DRL’s Were flash/strobing on the way home tonite. I’ve found it happens temporarily with my side markers on occasion, but this didn’t let up no matter how many times I turned them on/off.
Any ideas?
Were they both doing it? Not sure what's inside them so I can't offer any info there but maybe remove them and reinstall them. Maybe their contact area is getting finicky. If that doesn't work maybe try a different set if you have some around.
I did just that, I replaced them with the Sylvania Zevo’s I had in there previously. I’m going to bench check them but looking at the positions of the contacts, your idea is not unreasonable.
Di-grease Would have been a good idea. On a side note, anyone have a socket that’s reluctant to lock in place? I use the ‘push the lower duct out of the way method’ of changing those bulbs.
