Is it best to use Techron when the tank has some gas in it? I’ve been using it when it’s empty and have gotten no results with my gas gauge issue.
When you add any type of FI cleaner, it's best to do when the tank is nearly empty that way it will thoroughly mix with the gas. Try the MMO cleaner/lubricant and see if that works. For quicker results use 1/2 to 1 full bottle instead of the 4oz per gallon of gas the directions say, it won't harm anything.
If your C5 is not a daily driver, it's best to let it sit a few days after adding any gas treatment to give it time to dissolve the sulfur deposits on the fuel level sending units.
Quick question.....in SW Florida I am surrounded by Racetrack, 7-11 and Speedway gas stations. In assuming they don’t have Techron in the fuel. What are your thoughts on adding the small bottles of Techron (treats 12G) to a tank every so often. Will it help at all with keeping injectors and sensors clean or is it still harmful to the tank. I figured the Techron may be diluted enough to be the same as fueling with the same fuel that already has Techron mixed in.
bump.....any thoughts....I don’t have the gas stations that have the Techron mixed in already! Unless I missed what those stations were....🤪

unless I’m misunderstanding you, run your tank down to below a 1/4 tank, add Techron, then fill up allowing the Techron to properly mix with the fuel. This worked for me.....so far 🙏🙏🙏
I read somewhere that if you add the Techron at half tank and fill up it has a better chance of getting over to the passenger side tank if that is where the problem is. I’m going to try this next few fill ups. Running it empty hasn’t worked for me.
