Chirping sound upon startup
Hey guys, I'm still very new to the C5Z and I'm looking for some input. I have a '02 C5Z that I believe a pulley or accessory is making a squeaking or chirping sound upon startup. I haven't taken the time to try to start it with the hood open and locate it yet. I thought I might show a video and see if anyone can point me in some of the trouble areas that could be making this sound. For those curious, it's a '02 with a Procharger, Borla Stingers and about 20k miles. Let me know if you have any ideas of common culprits!

My Z started the exact same noise within a week of me bringing it home and over the next 3 days it got much worse. On mine it was the harmonic balancer / pulley starting to wobble, which is super common and If yours is the original I would start with that being the first culprit. I replaced it with a powerbond and it's good to go. Another possiblity would be a water pump bearing (not common), idler pulley bearing, etc. or maybe your belt is at the end of it's service life.
