Hey my vararam power duct worked out just fine over that pipe so I don’t even want to hear it today honestly ! Lol The straighter the better **** if I had room I would throw a dual air intake at the AA power duct side ( it’s in the drawing paper ) what need to be moved around ! Would you like another mileage picture on my tuning page from the last 300 miles 300 divided by 8.5 = 35.29 half of tank used ...? I drive 100+ at times to and from work uphill and get dead stuck in Bay Area traffic for hours yet I’ve managed to crank out 34.0 this week with all said and done! I do recommend it though because any similar style of a plenum will increase air it’s obvious! Engines are nothing more then air pumps give it air make it flow and there ya go thank you speedy for pointing out the better fuel economy and more power! It’s a whole other subject Kt and let’s not get distracted haha! But don’t worry I’ll get another gas slip up there just for you!
I will admit in many technical areas in tuning and schematics Ect I would take and heed any advise he throws out .

Buy the pro version. Sadly it's quite expensive.....but then so is hamburger these days.
Ron,
I'm trying to find out what the difference between the regular and pro is but the site really doesn't say. Does the pro come with a wideband or something?
It's going to make it a lot easier to bring in wideband and/or fuel pressure signal into the mpvi much easier for logging and tuning purposes. if you only have used one input... you could get away with wiring it to the unused EGR pin on the PCM.
I have EFIlive so it's a little different, but I bring wideband in over serial cable and fuel pressure via EGR and then have a custom param that converts EGR voltage to psi to give me fuel pressure in logs etc.

I don't think high flow cats do anything except keep the car from stinking. I preferred having them on my C5.
I also had my WB rotated slightly but in front of (or behind, can't recall) the factory O2 sensor. Worked fine. Wasn't rotated much though, the tunnel would have been in the way, and as I recall, mine would touch under torque-load. No big deal.
HP Tuners isn't difficult at all if you purchase The Tuning School. Well worth it imho.
Dam I was right again! Sorry for your loss on the block but it’s a good opportunity to start fresh the right way!
Go 470 ci with a Tall Boy LSX ! Yup!!!! Boost that !!!!!!!!!!! Wooooooossshhhhhhh! Wtf!
Go all out formula -1 15-20k rev limits take it to the limits of modern tech ! Be careful as it would probably be faster then anything you’ve ever seen before . Capable of breaking 300 with ease ! They don’t make tires that good ! Maybe one day we’ll see a 600mph tire !

Since you already got the crank I would just do 383. Combo of the long stroke/bigger displacement and centri blower should give it good power everywhere and be fun on the street.... my 2 cents.
Ok maybe not 470 because it’s a 6.0 or 5.3 block but 4.125 pistons and a 4.0 crank is about a 427 ! And your 6.125 rods
A new bow tie sets ya back about 3400 if you search I bet 2700 for a 454 ci starting point ! I think if you tuned it right and got the right exhaust nice and quiet smog would not latch onto it!

With your decision I was just trying to point out a 383 is well played out and for the time and money it’s really no further cost to have bumped it up. Either way I’m happy for you . I just like to go fast really fast lol !
Hence a cam recommendation? The ls9 cams and lsa again I share the obvious it’s well suited for boost!

There difference is a extra wire a yellow one they will send you ! Also a software unlock for pro version via pc ! There are some menus and functions that you won’t have access to all in all without the pro version! It’s use fuel but you can also do without it ! I have done all remote tuning without it and get this not even a knock sensor was hooked up! Still procrastinating! Always put 91 or better If you got 93 I would run it !

This will work. If it needs bored, keep it to .010”. It will go .030” but then back to thin walls. Your shop should know. No bore would be great.
The only good thing about the LS9 cam is price......
LS2 Knock sensors won’t work. You will have to put the LS1 sensors on the side of the block and use extension harness.
They still don’t work correctly though....
Umm expensive ??? Please define your view of it ? This was shipped from BTR to my door but still sits in the box ! You would need the timing conversion which I also have laying in its box !
