Indeed

The odds are is the tilton 60-6105 that I had I should have installed it instead of just going with a repeat OEM JUNK ... and that’s just it ......As much as I really am procrastinating it ......I dunno what’s seeming more timely the rear end or all then torque tube bolts ......the bs I go through for this corvette .....

thats the way I feel about my car when it breaks down. I swear I almost burt that car down to the ground more times then I can remember. But even after all that once I put over 1000hp to the ground all all those thoughts of destroying the car is gone..them thoughts melt away. If you never experienced 1000hp car your missing out.

I don't understand your thoughts on the stock MC.

I'm sure you read that I went back to stock from Tick. And I can't see a stock mc do this to the slave. I was thinking the only thing left is the clutch.

Yes I read about it I dunno I just couldn’t see my self paying for a stock item and Tick has a lifetime warranty and adjusted properly I find it way more smooth of a shift honestly and shaved a lot of time off in my own experience I guess ...I think the problem is somewhere else ...Leading me to purchase a new torque tube from lethal rated 1k hp.

Upon ripping out the rear end again for like the 4th time the motor is also getting pulled for motor mounts replacement and any other coupler or bushing I can find in the rear , do the timing upgrade , and the cam swap , cal it done along with my tilton 69-6105 I believe is the part number this ****** excuse my French ain’t breaking and if it ever did the line is totally replaceable with out all the heavy work over .....it’s my money pit overall I know it ....There’s a upgraded rear end gear I was reading about somewhere that’s ain’t cheap as well I will prob pick that up as well just can’t think of what it’s called right now but for those who kept up I prob mentioned it somewhere in the thread .......so the list of mods & service starts again .....I just had the whole e brake system rebuilt except the cord that was all good ....

Where the hell r u. Hopefully ur not stuck under ur car and left ur phone on the counter. I always keep my phone on me when working under the car. Tried to take out whole drive as 1 un pcs. Long story short fell on me and i was pinned for about 15ish mins. At 5'6 130lbs . That was an eye opener for me. I've done i this way for many times and yrs without a hitch. Couldn't scream because of the weight and neighbor to far away. So now have someone there for the last par of the job.

Most importantly is safety....I too get nervous doing the job alone I didn’t find the torque tube to be all that heavy that it could be easily lifted up and down from the front of it was at a angle on a atv jack at the back given that wasn’t the most stable thing I used it did work ... anyways if your offering to lend a hand next time I go at it I’ll indeed except the help ....I have all the tools and knowledge and experience required and then some to make this job fly by in about 4 hours maybe less ...I mostly do all the work from the side of the car with long extensions when having to pull out whatever bolts but some areas u can’t avoid like the brake lines and maybe a exhaust bolt or two

When I dropped the torque tube I let mine fall on a jack stand with a rubber cover lucky it didn’t hit the ground from there I set it on the pavement and just rolled it back on a atv jack wasn’t the easiest project I did ...

My biggest one was unhooking the rear brake lines what a pain in the *** tightening then was also a challenging moment as they need to be just right or else you’ll **** brake fluid all over ....
To bad ur in caly. I never turned down someone that needed help on there car. I just helped my neighbor take engine engine out of a gto. Well i took the engine out and he came last min to help pull out.

If you notice my neighbor in the background. I had to get him out of my hair so i told him to go look for my nickel i lost 20 years. I told him it could be up to 3 ft down.
I almost burned the vet down. Look at all that room to work on the car. Miss those days. Started wearching in 6th grade. All makes and models.

Same here I just pulled a engine from my neighbors car last year indeed there’s a ton of room on the old ones and it can all get done from the top side minus the exhaust which we broke off all the rusted bolts .

At times the vette can be miserable to work on but the overall performance and joy of the car out weighs that for me anyways...

Lol You're right about the exhaust bolts notorious for snapping. That was the first thing i side to him that i'm not responsible for those bolts. I sprayed them, them give a look of evil and thank god they came off.

Well the clutch fluid is magically staying after it went to the shop prob the line was loose or not connected well at that time but now seems good fluid still full it’s been a month or two...

On the flip side parts are paid up in full today that I has previously ordered . Now the interior can start getting right I picked up a original radio bezel from a junk yard tried to hack that up but sad to say my patience went out the window trying to make it right so I’ll be ordering a proper 2 din bezel but it has to have my cigarette lighter outlet or that’s a no go . 1 -floor mat somewhere if I can find just one lol ....driver side .and the seat air pump motor not even gonna waste time trying to cob the old one ...

I bet that things just as shot as the water pump was lol Just picking up a stock pump can’t bring myself to buy the high end ones ...still waiting to swap cams with ls9 I got 2 years ago now and do the timing ls3 conversion also bought 2 years back . Maybe that will be a good time to do so when doing the pump ....then retune the retard lol ...But thinking this is what it does need ...since retuning for the intake and throttle body she eats e85 like no tomorrow figure the cam actually might help now and maybe grab a new oil pump just because it right there ...pretty sure this will be this year actually project . And the air pump motor as well call it done for a while will see ...so I’ll be making some videos and what not at that time ...
