Already tore the passenger front side suspension to hell rebuilding it but man is this sucker quick they advertise 45mph that’s bs more like 65-70 ....maybe a bit more ....luckily the parts are less then 30 bucks of damage and the manufacturer is granting me a courtesy fix ....
Snappped the side bolster screws in 3 places and the top one as well bent a shock rod couple of lower & upper a arms and steering plastic bits chewed up the skid pretty well

Speedy, i think i remembered that you rebuild a water pump??? If so did it have nuts on the back of it??? Or was it a different kind ??
i took out the original pump & bought a dorman ..the back side is flat like a machine look ...fit fine pulley looks more durable then the stock way less expensive also then other performance pumps I looked plus with the AA bracket I guess u can’t use many other pump because of the two mount holes don’t line up on a lot of them that’s what AA told me ... All in all dorman pump actually fit just like the original...no nuts ends welded to the back ... has a lifetime warranty if it ever takes dump on me. Also mine was the one with the built in thermostat...I guess there are two types ...so if your changing pumps be sure to get the old one off 1st before buying one ...
I’m really not even 100 % if the pump could have been rebuilt I didn’t find any rebuild parts or a way to get pressed thermostat out and in without a huge hassle so buying a new I think 129.. pump was worth it to me .
If I recall correct the pump was press sealed on the back side unlike the power steering pump which has bolts

So took it out temps were 90 outside car pushed a coolant temp of 237 while running the a/c thinking this is a bit high for the weather ? Time to replace that radiator maybe ? Or maybe the fans aren’t operating correctly? Seems a bit high shut of the a/c car went back to 220 . Thinking it’s has to be either the radiator just ain’t cutting it 21 years later or the fans have shut the bed possibly....
Boils down to should one choose the stock oem radiator and fans or go with the aluminum style fans with the fans already attached to make life easier install it the unit ...keep in mind it does have the AA blower attached ...

Just put your arm under the back of the front tire or jack up and you'll hear them or feel the air blowing. I still have my original. 1999
Hooked up hpt special commands tested fan 1 has a lower rotation speed then fan 2 seems like low and high ...both fans working will rig up a string as a streamer to eyeball velocity
you have hptuners right?... you can command them on low and high to make sure they are working... what are your on/off temps?... also check the ac condenser to make sure it isn't full of crud between the fins
think bxt the old *** radiator and junk in the condenser ya it’s not the best gm shape .....when I undo the passenger side ac line the metal one is it gonna let out the freeoon?
Is running a 2nd smaller innercoooler before the main gonna hep help reduce that glitch I wonder

Did you get all the air out of the system after you changed the water pump?
Ya all is good on the air gaps this issue was also prior to the pump ....just the pump happen to start leaking ....it ran a little warm with the a/c on
I’ll prob pick up a 3 inch aluminum radiator rig that up.......strange cause the only does this when it’s 90& above when it’s in the 80’s 70 never goes over 218...so it’s got me scratching my head
( I’ll clean the air filter ) It looks a bit rugged

Ok got out the air compressor blew a pound a dirt out , took the pressure washer to it got another pound on that it’s somewhat actually see through now so will see if that helps things ....air filter was full of debris as well ...
