I have the same instructions, however ARP must have rounded off the recommended torque now the instructions per their website is 235ftlbs

If you think you bottomed the pulley with the installer, and the pulley doesn’t line up, I would remove and tie some basic measurements. It could be a hardware issue. I have also seen over time where a Camaro pulley was shipped by mistake, which results in misalignment.
