U may or may not be seeing ur security light doesn’t all it means it that’s u really have a open circuit if ur pcm tells bcm to start car. Pcm senses a over charge of a open circuit and goes into protect mode. Which no comm to a lot is display including fuel gauge full to empty , loss of power, tcs no comm, service soon , reduced power u know all the good stuff. Once u have cleaned the codes the pcm will respond no comm , TCS no comm ect. Because it has enabled protect mode if u follow me . Open circuit find it . If ur pulling low circuit dash should indicate charge system failure . U should follow clearing pcm because it’s already enabled protect mode. Via pulling 16 & 23 while car is set to start but not running. Turn off car in hooked battery try to get a code. As if it re established connection u can write down all the codes or screen shot them before clearing and enabling pcm safe mode. Thank you ! We can discuss more like ignition resistance memory loss but for now I think u have open circuit it could be a sensor like crank , throttle position a number of things 1 st off finding open circuit this is causing pcm to no comm ur cars modules .

Here I went digging for u just because I done for now until parts come in

If the DTC U1000 or U1255 is set current, this usually indicates a module that is currently not communicating or a configuration issue. For example, if the control module is configured for an option (i.e., OnStar, keyless entry, memory mirrors, etc.) that the vehicle does not have, it may expect to receive a message regarding this missing feature. This would usually occur due to the control module being recently replaced and incorrectly set up.
When the DTC U1000 or U1255 is current, the module that is not communicating may not even be listed on the Tech 2 on the Diagnostic Circuit Check /Class 2 Message Monitor list.
If the DTC U1000 or U1255 has set in history without other DTCs, replacing the control module that set the DTC is most likely NOT the solution. The module that has set the code is looking for an input from another module that is not communicating. Because the module did not receive an input that it is expecting to see, it sets a U1000 or U1255 which indicates there was a loss of communications.

i don t have a maf in this car, has not been one in it for 12 yrs.. so that can t be an issue, I knew that was one of the codes, 2 of the others are speed sensors. i don t see that being an issue either..

Can t see how this can be, but, the battery shows 14 V and 11.5 on the load test, but won t click the starter or turn over, but yet I hear the fuel pump engaging, is there any chance the battery could be pooched ? I don t see it that way with the voltage showing, but, who knows.

I had a battery test good on several testers but was bad. Try a new battery at the parts store and see if that works.

When my seat harness was giving me the same issues you’re having I tried unplugging it with no change. If the wires are pinched/shorting before the plug it will still cause the issue.

strange thing is.. the battery tender was warm and still showing orange instead of green this morning.. i hooked another tender up
to it and see how that goes.. i may and pick up my buddies battery and try it just to humor me..
