Great advice thank you! I actually switched gears today and ordered a cam going with the Texas speed torquer v2 kit so not going crazy big but should make for some fun. Then I'm doing intake and throttle body and last having heads p&p then I'm done it'll be plenty fast I think. While I'm in there my tuner suggested a new water pump and a few others but I'll add the balancer in now too. Rocker arms might be out of reach right now but I'll put that in the very near future I don't want weak points I just want a fun fast car that'll last

also agreed I'm not chasing numbers at all I'm just looking for the "feel" I want I'm a power junkie no doubt always have been whether it was my motocross bikes, snowmobiles, street bikes etc I want it to make me a little scared when I hammer on it. To me it's all about acceleration I've had way too many high speed close calls and know better than try to hit top speeds 175 mph is way the **** too fast and if something goes wrong (been there) you don't even have time to say "oh ****"... especially in a car that'll crush like a pop can

You can do a trunnion upgrade to your rockers fairly cheap... There are several kits out there under $200... If one of those rockers comes apart, and it WILL, with
an aftermarket cam and springs, you will throw all those tiny needle bearing into your engine..
Your rockers will already be off, just take a couple hours and do the trunnion upgrade !!!!
