Default Power Window Problems
embly1997 c5 My drivers side power window will not go down. Everything in the window switch assembly works,,,, pass window goes up/down,, power door locks both sides lock/unlock, power mirrors both sides work, all lights come on. Driver side window is dead. Now by dead I mean there is nothing. When I push either the up/down button I hear a click, The click is at the module, Ear next module and hand on motor, nothing at motor just click at module.. This whole window mechanism was replaced about a year ago, motor and all and has worked flawlessly until yesterday. I do not know but to me everything points to module. HELP Chuck

Remove the door panel and tap on the motor housing a few times. It may just be frozen or locked. Otherwise...here you go. Does not require a wiring harness adapter. The regulators are pretty much disposable parts nowadays. Good luck.

As I said in my post I have replaced that about a year ago, but will try what you say.

Not sure what you put in for a replacement buy some of the aftermarket ones are junk and do not last.

At $38 and some change I'm not so sure I'd trust that part not to fail soo quickly. Maybe try an OEM one this time and be done with it.

No need to pull the panel. Make a fist and hit the inner door handle a few times fairly hard. This made mine work, for now. I will replace it soon.
