My ? is, which wires does one tie together ? haven t taken the plug out so not sure how many is in there.
or jump a wire from what color to what color in the plug.

It's a simple switch, only 2 wires. You can kinda see in the image you posted there are 2 prongs.
You can probably just unplug it, and with a sufficiently large diameter wire, stick one end of each wire into each prong on the mating connector.

Just cut the wires and tie them together. You cant miss up theres 2 wires; did this 18yrs ago.
