You don't have to take the panel off to adjust tip in/out. There are a pair of adjustments for tip in/out: one for the rear rail and one for the front rail. The rear adjustment is behind the red reflector that just pops out of the panel. The front adjuster is on the underside of the door behind a rectangular rubber plug. Adjust the front and rear similarly or the rails won't be parallel and the glass won't go up and down smoothly.

Its not that sensitive you'll have to move it more than that. Dont be afraid to over do it because you can always reverse it and find the Goldilocks zone
