Hi need some help, on passenger side water leaks when air is on. I was told the drain plug has to be cleaned. Where is this drain and how can it be cleaned? Thanks
Welcome to the Forum!
Many videos on YouTube that show how to clean the C5 Rain Ducts (commonly called udders).
This should provide you a very good visual guide.
Best wishes with this cleaning.
If you are seeing water in the passengers foot well and its NOT raining when using the AC, you have a plugged HVAC Drain. The HVAC Condensate must be able to exit the air box and drain on the ground. The HVAC Condensate drain is on the fire wall, passengers side directly behind the area where the back of the passengers engine head is. You should be able to reach it from under the car POP off the little 90 deg rubber fitting and see if water comes out of the air box drain. The end of the rubber fitting can get stuck shut or slime and dirt can plug the drain tube
