The schemo posted by elarse confirms it, just unplug the connector, jump the terminals with wire or a paperclip and you'll take the switch out of the circuit.

Here's my update for today. Multimeter broke so my voltage checking was limited but I made good progress.

The clutch safety switch was fine in my car. Replaced it with a new one as well as bench tested the original one and it was grounding properly.

The fuses 4, 50, and 52 are all in tact. Additionally, 50 and 52 are always recieving power as they should.

I attempted to check if the violet colored wire on the TDR was recieving power at cranking and this is when my multimeter broke so I have no answer to this. I decided to take the next step and jump the violet and red wire on the TDR with the key in the on position and the car started right up nad would continue running perfectly!

Does this definitely mean the TDR is my issue then? Just want to be sure before I order one and swap it out.

Also, figured I'd toss this foot well picture in here because it really seems like someone has messed with this wiring prior to me. The purple wiring hanging over the bcm just seems very not OEM-like. I know the red one running to the fuse box is for the aftermarket radio.

The relay needs to FUNCTION to allow the car to crank. If you jump the PURPLE & RED wire and the car cranks and runs, your problem lies in either:

a. The YELLOW wire isnt providing 12VDC when you you position the key to crank
b. The BCM isnt happy with security and isnt GROUNDING the yellow black stripe wire ( just apply a ground wire to the yellow black wire and see if it cranks normally)
c The TDR Relay is bad and isnt energizing when it should. The last time I replaced mine, it was $12.

The relay next to the TDR relay is the Steering column lock relay . These relays shall be similar .
Try to switch these two relays is see if if makes any difference regarding starting the engine . If the engine starts fine you need a new relay

We have a winner here. Grounded out the yellow/black wire on the TDR and car is starting normally now.

Well,, Thats NOT a normal condition but, Im glad you found out what was causing the no crank issue. You need to figure out what is causing the BCM to not be happy with the cars security. Check for DTCs and see if you have any BCM DTCs. Especially one of the theft control or VATS DTCs.

The A9:C1 from the BCM is grounded through splicepack 208 ( above passenger footwell) to G104 (close to battery)in the engineroom .
Try to do a resistance check between A9:C1 and G104 .
