I’m not sure what sensor this is on my ‘99 manual. It’s on the passenger side below the starter. Thanks!

no it's not. Oil temp is a smaller sensor located on the opposite side of the engine above the oil filter

Crap,, You are right in that its on the passengers side. I can see the starter now that I looked again. In that case, Its the oil level indicator..
