I have a 2000 C5 with C6 wheels. I want to use spacers to make the wheels flush with the fenders. I have seen 20mm used on front and back. Is that to much or not enough? Thanks

A 20mm spacer in the rear puts the tire just about even with the wheel well. I think the fronts don't need a spacer and the wheel looks good to me.
Welcome to the Forum, Darren, and congratulations on your C5!
I am not seeing a photo, but even without a pic, I basically agree with C5MSG2004Vert; Any base C6 front wheel will be the same 8.5" width as a C5 base front wheel (although the C6 is, of course, 18" instead of 17" diameter), and there is only a 2mm difference in offset (58mm C5 v 56mm C6).
Because of the width difference in the rear wheels of the base C45 and base C6, there is a backspace difference of 0.80". Converting to mm, (25.4*0.80) is a difference of 20.32mm, so again C5MSG is right on with his 20mm.
I did have to add 5mm spacers to the front only to clear the C6Z06 brake set up.
