If no codes, and pedal still vibrates/pushes back, I would have no concern with it. Different surfaces and situations probably result in different brake pedal pressure by the driver, hence the different pedal response. For instance, if your txting while on the freeway in the rain, and you look up only to see cars stopped 100 feet away, you may be inclined to mash the pedal, HARD! If you hit a patch of gravel while trying to stop for a red light, on a dry surface, the pedal effort would probably be considerably different, as are the 2 surfaces and conditions. Just saying. BTW, does your DIC flash "ABS active", and/or the skidding yellow Corvette on the IPC light up? With no codes, I would think you're OK.......
Yes it shows abs light. So in light of your comment, I stepped hard on the gas pedal on a wet road and still only got a slight vibration, and almost lost control of the car as the abs did not seem to work as designed. That is the best I can explaine it. Thx
Thanks Grinder11: I am still evaluating this issue and will get back to you. thanks
I hope your ABS issue is fixable. I have been told it's a good idea to take the car out once in awhile in the rain, or while the streets are still wet and somewhat slippery, to exercise the EBCM. I also own a 2000 Vert, and we 1997-2000 owners didn't get dealt the best hand when it comes to EBCM and the SWPS!!! Good luck....
