Steering fluid leak from the rubber hose that connects the output from the steering cooler to the return line.
Does anyone know what the ID and OD are for that hose? I don't think that I really need to replace the entire metal house, just the flexible hose section.
I've drawn a really poor circle around the part I want to replace....
I can see mine but can’t reach to measure. Plus you’ll need the diameter too. Luckily it’s easily accessible from the bottom. Just jack up the front end and remove it. Any local parts store should be able to help. Or just buy 6” of various small hoses and try until you find one that fits. Probably only a few dollars per hose.
It's either 5/16 or 3/8, I can't remember which. This is a real common problem, my car needed this when I bought it. Buy a couple of worm drive clamps to replace the originals while you're at it.
