Default Oil pressure question

What's the normal oil pressure range for WOT (4000 to 6000 RPM)?

good question, but I'm usually more concerned with a lot of other stuff when I'm WOT!

Since we've opened up another OP question let me add some more.

When I'm in traffic (cool day and with an oil cooler) my oil temps were @ 200+ and the pressure got really low at idle. Like 9 psi sitting at a stop light.

Is this normal?

I have seen 18-20 psi range at oil temps of 210-230 and thought that was low, but others assure me 15+ is ok at idle. <10

According to GM, you can get down to 6 psi at idle and be OK. However, as a reference point, my car generally doesn't get below 27 psi at idle in gear (around 500rpm) with the oil at 212 degrees.

As for the original question on this thread, I think most people are getting around 45-50 psi at higher rpms.

How's 53-57 PSI sound, when getting on the gas? Is this within normal operating specs?
