Default C5 key fob issue
C5 key fob not unlocking car. I replaced the batteries in my key fob I went through the procedure for key fob training and no luck. Please help very much appreciated thank you

My key fobs had loose connections on the batteries. I had to buy new ones. There is also a method of standing outside the car and holding the lock and unlock for a few seconds and they set up. Might give it a try.

thank you I tried that already Somebody Told Me Maybe the main battery for the car is not fully charged?

2001. I also heard maybe the rke?receiver is not reading the fobs.

Key fobs are not that expensive. That’s why I started there and they worked just fine

Paul , They made two different key fobs for our cars. one is affordable the other is over 100 dollars
you may find that the new ones you bought will not work. If they do not you will need the other fob

There are ones for the 97-00 and ones for 01-04. The ones I showed work on an 02. Correct?
