Window stuck down
My driver side window had been only opening a 1 1/2" or so. Today it went all the way down. Now it will only go up about an 1" The window will move but stops. It will go down. Sounds like it is getting stuck.

After you open and remove the door panel, temporarily reconnect the window switch. Tap on the regulator a few times while pressing the up button to engage the motor. See if you can get the window to go all the way up. If you succeed, I'd suggest marking the window's position in the raised position with painter's tape. This way, you'll have adjustment reference points for positioning the reinstallation of the glass.

I just completed a repair on my drivers window reg. One of the plastic cable guides broke. I ended up removing the entire assembly so I could make repairs. Fairly easy job just be forewarned that a lot of the plastics can be pretty brittle after 20 years so be gentle. My window/mirror/lock button unit crumbled just about everywhere I touched it.
