On previous post I stated that I always turn the key to the On position first and let the gauges sweep and indicators turn off before turning the key to the start position. I always do this especially during the winter months when I usually get the pull key message the first time I start the car each day. I belive that your cars VATS is not allowing your car to crank because you are turning the key to the start position to quickly
I turn key to start nothing no crank nothing. I can try 2- 3 times then remove key and wait 10 seconds. most times it will start after i remove key for 10 seconds.
If i turn key on and let instruments settle [about 2-3 seconds] it will start.
When i try to start nothing. wait until dash sweeps and it will start every time. ab
out 2 seconds. If i just get in and turn to start nothing will happen. when dash sweeps it will start just started doing this.

You will have to install the LMC5 column lock bypass to not get the pull key wait ten seconds message. You should always turn the key to on position first and let the gauges sweep and the indicators turn off, this also allows the 2 second fuel pump prime to time out and helps the car to fire up quicker when you turn the key to the start position.
