C5 front turn signal help
I’m currently replacing my front turn signals to led sequential lights. My driver side blinker on the front does not work at all. It did this before when the regular halogen bulbs were still in the car and I was hoping the led would maybe fix my problem. My running light part will only stay on when lights are on not when lights are off. I’m not sure how long this has been happening but I did put the hyperflash harness in becuse I have the halo led tail lights. Could the hyperflash be the problem or is this a ground problem. Try replacing the socket. Those sockets for those lights are absolute GARBAGE. Look at how many mid-2000s Tahoes and pickup trucks have one burnt out running light. They're the same socket that's in the Corvettes. Even if they stay dry they eventually cook themselves and short out. Not only does the light stop working, but often times it will induce a parasitic drain on the battery. The good news is you can get a replacement socket at most parts stores and it's 3 wires to cut and crimp in the new socket.
