Does anybody know if the balancer and there after the oil pump can be replaced without removing the rack? I'm doing the bump stick and headers thing with all the trimmings including changing the mounts. I'm thinking with the intake, heads and manifolds off, jack up the engine some and???
I just did this. Both ways are a bit of 'work'. I am installing 3/8" lower engine mounts so I needed access to the top of cradle / bottom of engine anyway. Worked for my situation. The instructions in link are good if followed. Need car at 3' - 2 jacks. One to raise engine, one to lower cradle. Loads of FUN!
