I'm looking at an '04 to buy. I've attached a photo and I've circled a hole that would normally covered. I'm not a mechanic so can somebody tell me what this is and is it a problem that it's not covered. I have a similar picture of another C5 and this hole is covered on that car.
I have also put up a small video of the harmonic balancer. How does it look? And how does the engine sound compared to others?
The cover missing is for the access the clamp the locks the input shaft of the torque tube to the flex plate on an automatic. Not a big deal if missing.
The balancer looks good.
