Best OBDII Code Reader for C5 (and C7?)

Like i said, it's worked fine for me for many years but YMMV
In addition to have bidirectional to is very nice . If I window does not go up , you can use the scan tool (like Tech2) to force doormodule to drive the windows up and then troubleshoot/measure the relays /wires .
You can also verify if the doorbutton for window up works does operate corret by viewing input signals on the scanner .
Having a bi-directional scanner is very time efficient during troubleshooting comepared to only using a codereader .
In my own experience if you you don't have a laptop a Tech2scanner is a good way to go if you have a C5 /C6 .
If you have a laptop win10/win11 a VCX NANO with the Tech2win program and a 9 feet USB cable is a good way to go .
You have to download some software and instal it but youtube show you how .
I prefer Tech2win menu on a 13/15" laptopscreen over the small (8"?) screen of the Tech2scanner

I have a SnapOnUltra Edge and Autel MK908P scanner in addition but I mostly use Tech2win with the VCX NANO when I service/troubleshoot C5's .
Just recently I bought the TOPDON Topscan USB dongle using blooth to my Iphone . It has can be used against a lot of car brands , has bi directional capabilities ,view live data and create a detalied scanreport for the car
like this :

I you use the attached usb cable to a phone charger you can power it inside your and connect to your your phone using the buetooth and download manufature (brand) software the dongle by means of home wireless network instead of the mobile nettwork
If you see my last screendump and press ME (lower right corner) you can access Diagnostic reports and Data stream reports(recorded live data) on your phone

(I know I'm not asking for much...) I found a Foxwell NT530 that seems to foot the bill for $223 with software for both GM and Toyota. (It's $159 without the Toyota software)

Foxwell NT530 OE-Level & Bi-Directional Scanner Upgraded Version Of NT510 Elite & NT520 Pro
It looks similar to the Foxwell NT301 that MSG C5 bought. My question is, do you think that I am buying more tool than I will likely ever need? I have been having fuel sending unit issues and intermittent P0442 evap system codes as well. The NT301 has code reading/clearing and data streaming capabilities, but not the bi-directional functioning. It only costs $63, but I don't know if it will work on the Tundra.
Car is now running fine like it was before, and I'll change the rest of the plugs as time permits...
