Default Auto transmission leak

Hi everyone,
I have a C5 that seems to leak transmission fluid if it’s sat for a few weeks without moving. If I drive it weekly it seems ok, but if it’s garaged for a couple of months, I start it up every few days but it seems to have a small amount of fluid underneath. It’s about 50ml or so but looks more with it being on the floor.
Anyone else have any similar issues or solutions to the problem?
Many thanks

Trans and diff leaks are very common with C5’s. No easy way to deal with it other than drop everything and reseal it.

It only seems to do it if it’s been stood for a couple of weeks.
if I run it constantly it’s ok, just when it’s garaged over winter?

Have you put it up in the air and looked at the trans and diff with a flashlight? You can easily tell where the leak is coming from.

Someone has said it’s the torque converter that’s builds up pressure and the fluid comes out of the breather

well, the first step would be to determine what type of fluid. Is it red or brown?

You need to get under it to see exactly where the fluid is coming from. Seals might dry out while sitting then leak a bit until they get re-lubricated. Or it could be the torque converter. The good news is the transmission and torque converter are in two different places so you can rule one out with a quick inspection
