My C5 passenger headlight will not rise. I thought it might be a motor issue and the other day I was driving and got caught in a light rain and the headlight started working fine. So I'm thinking it might be a ground problem. Any suggestions or has someone experienced this problem?

turn the motor manually on the back counterclockwise one quarter turn or even an 1/8th of a turn. See if it works. I bet it will.

Thank you for the tip about manually adjusting my headlight a quarter turn. It actually fixed the problem, I don't know why or how but it did. Tonight I converted the car over to LED lightning, everything went well but I am pondering if I can use dual sided tape and mount the headlight high beam and low beam resistors to the frame. Any thought on that?
Thanks Again

Your car is junk. I'll be by to pick it up. I'll have a check for 5k with me. Final offer! Just kidding of course. Sometimes these rigs get you down. They're right on the knife's edge of old/new. Old enough to be shitty. New enough to be really cool. You can fix them yourself which is awesome imo. Yet, they are advanced enough to be hanging with the tough guys!
Right now mine is doing the old ac shuffle. The doors are trying to reset in the dash. I can hear them. It's a constant. I know how to fix this (fuse pull and put back) but haven't done it yet. It's always something! That's the fun of it.
I've blown up my share of engines in my time. THAT'S a true bummer. But if yer not breakin' anything, yer not pushing it hard enough! Good luck!
