My C5 started to stall out when I let out the clutch.I had the car towed to the dealer and the car has not displayed this symptom again, however they said that the have another customer with the same problem. When the clutch is depressed the engine revs fine but as the clutch is released the car stalls at 2mph. Any info would be helpful
So the dealer has no suggestions. Amazing. Sounds like you need the column lock bypass mod. Do you have any codes when you read the DIC. All the information you need on this is in the sticky section of tech and that's where this should have been posted.
Does this happen when applying more RPMs when letting the clutch out? I had a VW Bug that as it got older I had to give more RPM's to keep it from stalling.

The 2 mph stall is consistent with the need to install the LMC5. My car did this when I test drove it . I was embarrassed and the dealership acted like I was a novice with the clutch. You might also have noticed the message "pull key wait 10 seconds." the shut off happens when the car's computer detects something not quite right with the column lock. The shut off keeps you from driving off with the potential of the steering wheel locking on you at higher speeds. It might be something else...but what you describe fits this rather common issue.
