I'd imagine it's tremendously ineffective. There's a long way between the brake reservoir and the wheels.
get a mityvac and use that at each corner, saves a ton of time and can be done without a helper.
I have flushed brakes for track purposes, running a full liter through them on my C5 every two years starting in 2011. For me, speed bleeders are the easiest.

The speed bleeders are so awesome. Did my first bleed with these. 👍🏻
In my experience, the "speed bleeders" are OK.......for 2-3 uses. The problem is this, their successful use depends on the ability of the thread sealer on them, to seal in the threads of the caliper body. When you initially install them, you have to remove the existing bleed screws. In doing so, fluid seeps out of the caliper, as you remove the screws. You're then screwing the speed bleeders into brake fluid. It will seal for a couple of bleed cycles, but over time, that fluid you screwed the sped bleeders into, softens the thread sealant, rendering it useless.
What then happens, is when you want to bleed your brakes, you loosen the bleeders, push the brake pedal, and the speed bleeders release fluid. If they're working properly, yes, the spring will reseal the check ball, but the threads are allowing air to be drawn back into the caliper, rendering a soft pedal.
Wrap your stock bleeder threads in teflon tape and put a hose over the bleeder to a container like the mityvac one. Have it going uphill and if you keep a column of fluid in the hose it never sucks air back into the line while pumping the brake pedal.

The speed bleeder in my remote slave cylinder bleeder let in air and caused me to believe I had a clutch problem.
When I went back to having my wife pump the pedal like in the old days the clutch problem disappeared.
I would never use them on brakes. Like Leadfoot4 said they are good for 2 or 3 uses then they start malfunctioning. Hopefully you'll notice it sooner. Maybe they are good for racers.
Thanks for all the advice. I found this gizmo in one of my tool boxes. Don’t remember where or why I got it. Looks like it slips over bleeder valve and has a check valve at the end. Think I will give it a try.
