Default Front headlight

I went to turn on my headlights on my 2001, but only one comes up
any HELP would be appreciated.

When you turn the headlights on, does the one that does not come up make a grinding sound. If yes, probably need replacing. If no, check the connector between the headlight control module and the headlight motor. Take the connection apart making sure it is free of corrosion and the connections are solid between female and male.

There is a gear upgrade kit. If its mechanical check into doing that

If it grinds, you need to replace the gears. I used two kits to upgrade both headlights from Rodney Dickman about ten years ago, still good.

If it does not make a grinding sound, it could be the bumpers that provide a soft stop when the headlight is going up or down.
