Hi everyone! First things first....I have spent hours on here researching old threads trying to answer my own question without cluttering up the site with another repeated question. Unfortunately, I'm stuck. Last year I had 1221 and 1516 code. I replaced the TPS ....which didn't fix anything. Then I replaced the TAC module....which corrected the problem for an entire year. Now, I'm getting similar, if not the same problems, minus the 1516 code (except once). The car can run flawless for 30 min. I'll shut it off. Start it back up and bam...goes into reduced engine power. It can happen while driving, while idling in the driveway pretty much anytime. AC on , AC off etc etc. Couple weeks ago I drove it like 8 miles with no issue. After practice....it wouldn't even run and I had to keep resetting over and over to get home. I'm thinking of replacing the TAC module again....but they are now like 600 to 700 bucks. Is there any way to test it to see if that's actually bad? And what are the odds I'd go thru that one in a year.....which i understand these modules are not brand new so definitely possible. All the posts i see on here are from 2004 up to maybe 2017. Hoping maybe there has been a breakthrough somewhere on this issue in last couple years. Thank you!

Did you do any bolt on mods or have the car tuned at all,You might need some parameters in the pcm changed to stop that from happening.Just some idea's.
