Just got my havc head back and installed from dim light issue. Everything works except the a/c you can’t hear it kick on or fans run. Where do I go from here, does it need a recharge to start or what. Also still have the fuel gauge issue after a year using additives. But sure is fun driving

Yes, your AC will need an evac and recharge to work. The mechanicals wont do anything until the refrigerant is added.

What additives did you add to your tank? There are big differences in quality and Techron seems to be the one that works.

Techron is what I have been using for about a year, at times it seems to work than it pegs to empty, when I push reset in the diy after shutting off it goes back up again. Got some seaform but haven’t added it yet. Thanks on the information on a/c did know if it had to be recharged to hear fans or compressor kick on.

I've been having the same gas gauge issue since I bought it a couple of years ago. The gauge sometimes works and sometimes pegs to zero, sometimes both during the same trip. I've used Techron and Sea Foam, but the issue remains.

Unfortunately all the Techron and Seafoam in the world will not correct the problem, and you have to replace the sending units in the tanks. There are codes which will tell you which sending unit is the problem.

Sometimes it takes 4-5 bottles of Techron before it works. Mine took 5 bottles in over 1,300 miles to work. But as mmartinez says, it doesn't fix a worn sender. If it's sulphur buildup, you have a good shot at it working again IF you use 4 or 5 cans/bottles. If after 5 bottles you see no improvement, time for new sending units!!

BG 44K is also worth a try, but I have good luck with Techron.

Had it peg to Empty again and showed codes AO-LDCM B2284H, 60-IPC U1160H and 10-PCM looked up what I could and don’t look related to sending unit. Reset and drove about 50 miles fuel gauge was fine but got another B2284 and that’s something about left door voltage. Also on column lock mine is a 6 speed but don’t lock when everything is shut down and I can turn the wheel does that mean the lock has been removed.
Thanks
