I have noticed my window seal at the "B Pillar" has been "shrinking." You can easily stick your finger through the gap, and you can feel the breeze around your neck as you drive, plus it's noisy as hell... I thought I'd have to replace my halo seal, which I was shuddering about, thinking about the cost. Then I went to the passenger side, and it was clear that my window on that side was sitting much further back than the driver's.
The problem has gotten worse - the weather stripping at the front of the window at the A-pillar is getting buckled from the sliding or maladjustment of the window. The gap is getting bigger!
Is this an adjustment? What reason would the driver's window have for sliding forward? Might this involve the replacement, or merely the repositioning, of the regulator?
The clamps that hold the glass to the window regulator are loose. Door panel has to come off to adjust the glass and tighten the clamps.
Not a too difficult job, just time consuming to get it right.
