Default C5 Electrical problems(NEED HELP)

I installed my Halo tail lights about 5 days ago they worked perfectly.Yesterday while I was changing my oil I decided to do the Hyperflash harness.Everything worked perfect, today I went to start the car, I unlocked it no lights turned on(I have lights on when unlocked)the only lights that turned on were my reverse lights and corner front lights. Then I turned my headlights on and noticed they wouldn't go back down and my halos didn't work anymore.I took out the hyperflash harness and the same thing was happening. My hazards didn't work but when I pushed my hazard light in and used the turn signals they worked but without the hazards being pushed in they don't work. I ordered a hazard switch. If anyone can tell me what they think it is then I would appreciate it. Thank you

Have you tried contacting the place you got them from if you bought them new? I personally haven't seen a halo tail light like that one before.

Your tail light looks to be missing the resistor. The white wires don't need to connect to anything but the red and black should be connecting to a resistor that should have came with them, like this

It looks like your resistors were removed as it should be secured at those 4 hole posts on the back.

Did you buy the tails brand new? If so, from where/who?

First thing is to make sure that battery side terminals are tight (FSM: 11 foot pounds) and CLEAN.

Next, check battery voltage across the BATTERY terminals, engine not running. 12.6 or more is fully charged; less is trouble.

Next, check battery voltage across battery terminals, engine running. 13 V or more, as high as 14.5 V. Less is trouble.

Next, LOAD test the battery. Most auto parts stores are equipped to do that.

Yes, the hazard switch may be at fault. A way to diagnose is to turn it off and on 20 times and see if symptoms change. If that happens, there are work arounds in the forum besides replacing the switch.

would the battery being loose do that to my lights and make all my lights not work properly?

Always best to check your battery voltage and cable connections, that being said I belive your cars problems are due to the halo lights. Anytime you install led lights you have to have resistors to match the cars original power requirements.

I was doing research and was wondering if it Could possibly be my headlight switch?
Does that make sense for it to be that?

If you suspect a battery drain, check this thread and especially post #15.

you must have missed the point made in post #4. if you don't have the missing resistors, try putting your original tail lights back in and see if that fixes everything. if it does, then your problem is the missing resistors.
