Looks like that I have a convertor that looses its lock up while cruising at highway speeds after warm up. I read here it could be a possible ground concern. Make sense?
If I accelerate it will lock up. My thinking sounds like a erratic TP sensor. Of course I hate guessing.
If you have a scan tool I’d check for codes or use the DIC…maybe a C1291, 1293, 1294 or 1295 ??…if you want to drive it down here to the Cape I can take a look…will have to do some research though…I don’t like to guess either…maybe a stop lamp switch issue and this can be checked with a “better” scan tool to see if it is being “applied”
inadvertently going down the road…you can try pulling up on the brake pedal with your left foot going down the road and see if the TC unlocks.
