Intermittent Door Lock Issue
I'm sure someone here has ran into this problem and I think I have a good idea as far as a starting point for chasing this issue. My passenger door lock does not work at all (via key fob or driver side control panel) and my driver door intermittently works with key fob use and so far continues to work with door panel control. I am thinking it's likely the wiring that runs through the accordian from the fender to the door but if that doesn't prove to be the case, should I be looking at door control modules? Both windows work fine (well, driver side needs a new motor/regulator because it doesn't roll down more than a few inches but that's another chore to do while I'm tearing the doors apart). Thoughts? Experience in the matter?

I had this same issue and a member suggested that it was the door relays. I removed the panel, the relay board with (3) relays on it and sent it to a guy in Maryland that replaces all 3 for about $50.00 + postage. He guarantees these relays for life. Turnaround is 3 days... This fixed the intermittent door locking problem. Sounds like this might be your issue... A cheap fix.
