I just installed a Summit HB on my C6. To hopefully eliminate the chance of stock HB going bad. During the process we found out that previous owner's stock HB had spun on Crankshaft for a very short time.
They replaced the HB with a new stock one and pinned it. I polished up the front of the crank and installed the Summit HB SFI version and pinned it.
Summit Racing makes a quality HB and looks pretty cool installed.
