Hello All,
Im new to this forum and wanted to pick your brains about wiper switch replacements. Ive seen many complaining about the wipers not working correctly and how many have gone through different things to correct the issues. Ive had a intermittent wiper problem, mine works, but only after im driving for 30 mins or more, when it does work. ive replaced the motor and checked grounds and fuses, I bought a replacement switch but not sure how to install it. I have an idea about taking the column apart but my question is the cable does it go thru the firewall to the wiper motor or is there a harness under the dash it connects to?
There is a connector within the column covering. Now as to whether that connector is part of the main harness or a sub harness I have not been able to figure out, looking through the parts manual.
From what I’ve read, the really good news is you don’t have to pull the wheel: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...placement.html
Bought a replacement switch, put it in and bingo, no go, same problem. Going to check the fuse again, it looked good but going to check it with a meter. Also does anyone know where the wiper relay is located?
