2004 Base Convertible. Replaced a high beam LED bulb on right side after replacing headlight motor on same side. Now lights go up and down without problem but on low beams only the high beam bulb that I replaced on right side comes on. Left side works as it should. Putting lights on high beams all bulbs come on as they are wired to do. Any suggestions as to what the issue could be? When replacing the motor I did need to change #6 fuse in interior fuse panel. Thanks in advance.
Go back in. My first guess is wires were crossed. Often, aftermarket LED bulbs and others can come with the wrong style connector between the 9005/9006 and so we think we've plugged in the right one but they're crossed. Also possible is that the wiring is correct but the bulb placed in the opposite location high vs low. Aaaaand also possible is that whichever one is set for your low beam and not lighting up could have backed out of the bulb mount altogether as wiring drags on the back of the bulb and if they are not securely mounted properly to the housing they will quickly fall out.
Since you replace the right side headlight motor, suggest opening up the connector between the motor and control module making sure all the connection fit tightly and are clean.
