I have a code DTC P0452 Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor Circuit Low Voltage, if I have to replace this sensor after I do other checks is there any way to get at it or do I need to drop the tank??
It is on top of right hand fuel tank…procedure below and location but don’t always assume it’s a bad sensor…you can have a wiring issue but to isolate the cause it’s best to use a DVOM and a scan tool where you can see the fuel tank pressure sensor voltage…you will normally see around 1.5 volts on a good sensor with key on engine off…you might not have 5 volts on the gray/black wire or the green sensor wire may be open or shorted to ground…it is a good idea to fill out your profile with model year, trans type, mods, tune etc so we know what we’re dealing with.
Awesome thank you just what I was hoping for, I wasn't assuming anything yet, just wondered if I could do it or was going to have to farm it out, my health limits what and how much I can do. I will update my profile, this is my first C5 have owned 2 C3's which had very little as far as electronics but this thing is a different cat all together. I will learn.
